At 1:30 I heard Miranda whimpering. I dashed in there as quickly as I could, but couldn’t calm her down fast enough before she woke up Henry. She wanted me on the bed next to her; he didn’t want me on the bed at all. The next 2.5 hours were awful awful awful awful. Jack was ready to rebuild the cribs. We snapped at each other. I finally got Miranda back down asleep and then took Henry from Jack, who was miffed that I didn’t “have a plan” for this. Henry finally fell asleep around 3:45 in bed next to me. I woke up at 7am with his feet in my face. I moved them before I realized what I was doing, and he woke up, all chipper as can be.
This has to get better, right?
